I previously retained another attorney in the building, however he was not available and I was referred to Mr. Hinz.  I cannot express enough how much he helped me during my court hearing and made me feel at ease during a very stressful morning.  He accomplished exactly what I requested!

Top notch attorney! Easy to deal with and he will go out of his way for the results you want. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case. I would recommend this office many times over.
Awesome attorney

Bill and his team are outstanding! Bill is a sharp strategist who truly cares for his clients. He immediately recognized my husband's personality issues and knew how to use this to our advantage. He knows how to deal with aggressive people who have control issues. I would highly recommend him.

The DUI law varies in every state. In California, the DUI law (driving under the influence) states it's illegal to operate a vehicle while under the influence of not only alcohol but drugs as well. Under the DUI law, anyone under the age of 21 cannot operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of over 0.01%. The DUI law also states that if you are using over-the-counter medication, prescription medication or even drugs with alcohol in them such as cough syrup and it is affecting your ability to adequately control your vehicle, you can be charged with a DUI. The DUI laws have different penalties depending on factors such as past DUI charges, your age and what type of license you may have. Under the DUI law, you could face a license suspension, a fine and even jail time. You may also have to attend DUI School or even have an ignition interlock device installed in your vehicle. DUI convictions will remain on your driving record for 10 years. For people with a commercial license, the DUI law states that a blood alcohol content of 0.04% or higher will result in a DUI charge. For drivers under the age of 21, the DUI law states they cannot have a blood alcohol content over 0.01% and will also be charged with possession of alcohol.
